Collage night is by popular demand, come make your own hand cut collages at Hapke’s Hortum! Due to the adult nature of the content in this class, this event is 18+
This is a beginner level class, a demo will be taught by Owner + Artist, Lauren McKenzie. Lauren has been a collage artist for 10+ years, and has recently been working on a series of collage works using visuals from vintage Playboy, Life, and Vogue magazines. Vintage magazine and book materials will be provided as well as all other supplies, participants are welcome to bring their own magazines, photographs or other items to be used in their collages.

Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Kokedama is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string or mono-filament fishing line. They can be displayed on a decorative surface or hung by string in a window. This is an intermediate level workshop; requires patience and use of hand tools, tying knots, working with fishing line, etc. Workshop price includes your choice of houseplant appropriate for Kokedama wrapping, moss, fishing line, twine and cord.

Create your own open face, desert terrarium oasis. We will work together to assemble a desert terrarium, using a variety of soil, rock, decor and a selection of desert friendly houseplants, complete with a lesson on how to properly care and maintain your new desert garden.

Collage Your Heart Out Workshop at Goat Patch Brewing

Give your Valentine’s/Galentine’s and friends what they really want this v-day — a smutty handmade card! All supplies will be provided, and time permitting, each person can make up to 5-10 valentine cards. Vintage Playboy, Playgirl, Penthouse magazines and book materials will be provided as well as all other supplies, participants are welcome to bring their own magazines, photographs or other items to be used in their collages. Sharp tools like x-acto knives, scissors and other blades will be utilized for this class with some proper training ;)

Teeny Tarot Terrarium Workshop
Let’s celebrate the Autumnal Equinox by creating together! Choose your own teeny card + components including tiny cups, swords, wands, and pentacles and add moss, crystals, and other celestial miniatures. These ‘Teeny Terrariums’ do not contain live plants, so they will last a long time with no maintenance. Tickets include everything you need to create your own tarot card themed art dome, instruction as needed, assistance as requested, a tarot reading by Jenna with Saturday Side Hustle.
